ABSOLUTE MORON

When I read this story online, I nearly spilled on my coffee because of the sheer laughter from all of this.

A Kiambu woman accused of robbing Sh 4 million from her employer was detained on Tuesday by police officers at a witchdoctor’s house where she allegedly had gone to “seek protection” against arrest.

Miriam Mwelu, according to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), was arrested in company of her partner Timothy Akoi at the witch doctor’s house in Gachie.

Upon arrival at the house, the sleuths were met with a frightful scene as they found Mwelu “being immersed in a basin containing a concoction of blood drawn from a dead fowl, whose features resembled those of a cockerel.”

The witch doctor then started chanting incantations in bid to hold the officers at bay but could not prevent them from making their way into the house nevertheless.

The DCI wrote, “She(Mwelu) couldn’t come to terms with reality, after the in-charge of the operation told her ‘mama bado tuko hapa vaa nguo twende,”‘- which means, woman we’re still here, wear your cloths, and let’s go.

Mwelu later led the detectives to her parents’ home in Ithanga, Murang’a county, where a wad of cash amounting to Sh1.57 million and jewelry reportedly stolen from her employer were recovered.
