Nadia schools Eric Omondi addresses the allegation about her being mistreated at Mboso’s concert
Singer songwriter Nadia Mukami sets the record straight with the allegations going around of her and singer Masauti being mistreated in Mbosso’s concert in Mombasa over the weekend.
Nadia did not directly engage in the claim but wondered if she was suppose to get into a physical confrontation with the promoter who allegedly chased them out of the stage.
“@EricOmondi Ulikuwa unataka mimi na Masauti tupige promoter ndio ujue we are fighting for the industry ama?
There are things that haviitaji kifua. Tunapambana sana. You have a valid point ya kupush fighting to protect our industry but the way you are approaching it sometimes it’s just meeeh! Stop making it an Eric Omondi fight. It’s an industry conversation that needs a lot of systems and structure building,” shared Nadia Mukami.
She was responding to comedian Eric Omondi who insinuated that Kenyan artist cannot fight for themselves even when treated unkindly by producers.
“These Kenyan artists wataendelea tu kuumia na kudharauliwa mpaka siku ile wataniskia…asiye skia la mkuu huvunjika guu…anyway plans are underway to bring up a totally new breed of musicians hawa washatuangusha,” shared Omondi
Omondi has been a big promoter for play Kenyan music by 75% on all Kenyan platforms
