Willy Paul comments on the 75% airplay
In a press conference held yesterday, Willy Paul commented on several things one of them is the 75% airplay motion that is yet to be tabled in parliament which was spearheaded by comedian Eric Omondi.
The conversation took a turn after the comedian was arrested and released after he stormed off parliament in a bid to get ex- musician Jaguar the document with requirements that will ensure Kenyan artists are supported. Willy Paul seems to be in support of Eric Omondi.
“Its a good thing, it’s just that the way Eric structured it wasn’t okay. But I think it’s a good thing because if it goes through our fans will get to know us better. If you ask our fans between local and international, they’ll always choose the international because they’ve been fed the international artists more than us so I think it’s a good thing,” he said Willy Paul.
The bill was tabled 23rd November 2021 and presented to the members of Parliament. Eric posted on his socials
