In a documentary released on King Kaka’s YouTube channel, Okello max reveals how he met with King and ended up doing a song with him.

“The first time I met with King Kaka I met him online. I had just released my audio for my song “Nakufa” I went online and saw him jamming on my song “Nakufa” Akiwa Burundi, I was shocked. I went to respond to his post he commented back and said that I was going so far and that we’d work together when he comes back to Kenya and now we have done something fire on his ‘Happy Hour’ album”, he said.

The two have worked on the “Happy Hour” album and have released “Hera Onge” currently on Boomplay. Which uses the Kikuyu, English, Swahili, and Dholuo languages. It has gotten a lot of love Boomplay. Here are some of the comments

@Robinson Aliero saa hii sitoshi tu… Natosha mboga

@Jeff Omondi f3cbr Moto sana okello max big up bro

@Bonifese favorite already

Okello Max first came to the scene with his banger ‘Nakufa’ which he had teamed up with Bensoul and Amlyoto. The song was such a favorite amongst people and how Max brings in his dholuo language in the song is out of this world. This seems to be his signature as he has also teamed up with King Kaka and done the same. Either way, his musical sense is out of the world and downright commendable. Check out his song ‘Hera Onge’ on Boomplay.
