Kenyan holywood based actor Lupita Nyongo stars in all-female spy thriller

Kenyan Hollywood Oscar award-winning star actress Lupita Nyong’o shines her light bright in Hollywood after she takes a lead role in the film ‘355’ which was released on theaters in January 5

“The 355 wears its spy movie bonafides with pride. And why shouldn’t it? There’s room for twists of all types. A solid spy flick that adds something new to the genre without totally upending it,” reads in part the review by Indie Wire

Lupita seems to be starting this year on a high note.

A day after the film’s release, Nyong’o took to her social media describing the action scenes as “badass”.

“Sometimes courage sounds like this! The 355 movie is out in theatres now, the fight scenes are definitely more badass than this!” Nyong’o wrote on her Instagram caption.

She posted a video showing her stunt doubles describing them as courage’s “helping me face my fears head-on.”

Kenyans are so excited and this comes after Kenya has been increasingly spreading their reach to international streaming services like Netflix and Showmax
