November has seen some good music dropped and new charts being met as the music scene seems to be constantly at work. We’re going to be looking at some of the EP’s that dropped last month and what you need to be jamming on.

Muthoni Drummer Queen’s River

This is MDQ’s 4th album. It is a 13 track collection with songs such as African Fever, Love Potion, Me, Think About You, Moonlight, and Greatness among others. River is MDQ’s 3rd collaborative project with Swiss producer duo Greg Escoffey (GR) and Jean Geissbuhler (Hook). From its beautiful cover art to the music and visuals, this album oozes MDQ’s signature eclectic style and experimental sound. A blend of various genres such as Hip Hop, Dancehall, Reggaeton, Soul, and RnB with undertones of traditional drum rhythms, this production is certified. It is available on various music streaming apps.


Naiboi’s Otero

Naiboi dropped this EP after a long hiatus and it is fire! The 10 track album features songs such as Kenya Power, Ready, and Monica just to mention a few. Its audios’ rich and incredible layering stand out. Naiboi who became even more popular after rebranding from Rapdamu due to his signature sing-along verses, adds a dash of Rapdamu, switching up the versatility in this EP. The Otero EP boasts of diversity and it definitely has a track for everyone. The EP is exclusively available on Boomplay.

Willy Paul’s African Experience

Willy Paul brought the fire with African Experience coupled with more news from his recording label Saldido International. Pozze chose to collaborate with African artists across the continent to bring this fire body of art. With collaborations from South African Kelly Khumalo, Cameroonian Daphne, Ugandan Eddy Kenzo, and Tanzanian Jux are just but a few of the artists who have helped deliver this body of work. King Kaka’s Happy Hour

Happy Hour, which is King Kaka’s thirteenth body of work is his first-ever EP after successful mixtapes and albums. Happy Hour EP is different from most of King Kaka’s songs laced with signature poetry and thought-provoking rawness. This time he will transport his audience to happiness as he celebrates the good things in life. The Happy Hour EP is currently available exclusively on Boomplay!
