Daddy Owen to hold peace concert in Eldoret
Gospel singer Daddy Owen is holding a music event meant to promote peace as we near the election campaign period.
Speaking to SPM Buzz, singer Daddy Owen said he aims to be a culture-shaping icon, which he will do through his musical talent. “The event is happening on Sunday in Eldoret and we will be preaching peace to our youth. We are not going to tell them not to vote, but to spread the word of maintaining peace.”
He said he will speak their language by involving them in the event. “This event will major on the talent in Eldoret and other towns,” he said.
The highlight of the event will be a singing competition whereby the winner will get a recording deal from Big Afrique recording studio and mentorship from Daddy Owen. “We will have a dance competition and sh 50k is up for grabs. Local leaders will attend to speak about peace.”
Some of the artists who will perform include, Size 8, Ringtone, Moji baba, Dj Mo, Rufftone among other artists.
