Singer Marya opens up on dating veteran rapper Colonel Mustapha

In a recent interview with Chatspot, musician Marya opened up on dating veteran rapper, Colonel Mustafa. The two had dated back in the 2000’s and even released a song together called “Hey Baby”.

The singer opened up about dating the rapper saying, “ I think that at the time I was with Mustafa I wasn’t ready for that. I didn’t know what I was getting myself into. I just met this guy, he likes me, I like him. We are doing the same thing at Ogopa. There was some controlling that I didn’t know how to react to.”

The two broke up a long time ago and according to Mustapha in one of the interviews on Mseto Radio he said “mi nilimwacha kwasababu alicheat na Reuben Ndege, I saw the texts messages after I checked her phone after askign her she started being worried ,asking me rafiki yangu mgani amekuambia? Sasa after that we were never the same. So every one went different ways. Lakini ata dini pia ilichangia sana kwa vile we were of different denominations. Mimi sikumcheat yeye, ofcourse nilimpenda sana yule mtoto na nikimpenda mtu mi huwa sicheat” he said.

He went ahead to write on his Facebook page,“Everybody has been trying to find out what happened between me and Marya. I have been silent over the matter. She cheated, and I couldn’t forgive her. As a man, you want to make decisions for your family. Sometimes, the lady doesn’t see the sacrifice and commitment you make in the relationship. I called the engagement off long before any cheating rumors came out. This wasn’t going to work,” read part of his post.
