COLLO AND THE COMEBACK

Collins Majale is not a new name in the Kenyan music industry. He is among the best rappers that we had/have and he’s still doing it even after switching to gospel.

A few years back when he gave up the secular world for gospel, it was a little confusing for Hip Hop heads because it felt like a great player leaving your team.

Then Nyashinski came back and fans thought that maybe he would pull him back and recreate the Klepto of old. Shinski even mentioned it in a song that Kleptomaniax never broke up in the first place.

But as the years went by, Hip Hop fans noticed that it would take long to see Kleptomaniax and Collo back to their legendary best.

Until recently.

Collo, King wa Rap, dropped an EP that seems to have brought back the attention of Hip Hop heads. D.E.P Vol 1 is a project that came out amidst divided opinions on whether or not he was still at his best.

But from the general response, he seems to have won some fans back. He’s been all over the place too, performing at various events and hanging out with presidential candidate and Busia Senator Okiya Omtatah.

He may be back!
