Last week, Kenyan rapper King Kaka released a song featuring Wakadinali. In the video shoot of the ‘Pull up’ song, King Kaka’s face can rarely be seen since he wore a full face mask, leaving only his eyes visible.

The rapper now says he did it because he did not want people to see how thin his face looked after suffering a life-threatening illness.

“While shooting this video I was so thin and sick that my face was showing so I decided to wear a full face mask to avoid questions. We thank God that’s part of The Testimony,” King Kaka wrote on his Instagram.

The rapper had lost a lot of weight after battling an illness for months but he is back on track now, posting on social media he thanked his wife for always being supportive and being there for him.

The King has been releasing tracks after tracks since he got well. His first track after weeks of being hospitalized was ‘Manifest’ featuring Nviiri the storyteller. In the song, King Kaka narrated his ailing journey and how his wife and mother stood up for him.

‘Pull up’ now has over 200000 views on YouTube.
