Diana B discloses the reason behind her new rap career

The newest rapper in town, Diana Marua aka Diana B, has opened up on why she chose to do rap and not sing. In a video interview on Plug TV, Bahati’s wife said that she was aware that she could not sing well.

“I’ve been taking my husband to the studio and once in a while I’d ask nitasound aje nikiimba na nikirap, so nilikuwa tu nashikilia tu mic and I remember there is a time I did remix yake na Tanasha ya one and only and guys laughed and I made it a point to do it and challenge myself. So here I am”

She went on to disclose why she stuck to rapping and not singing, “The reason why I decided to do rap is that I personally know I can not sing. Truth be told, I only sing in the bathroom…that is the best I can do, You know with rap it’s a vibe.. .ni kuunganisha mistari…ujue unaflow… alafu uweke vibes…mafeelings…emotions and then you come up with a banger. That is why I decided to start with a hit. The remix was a response to my Husband “Mtaachana tu, can I respond and say “Hatutachaana?”

Diana has announced that there are many other projects loading and her fans should be waiting for some goodies. Her first song received mixed reactions from fans online but she proved the naysayers wrong by hitting 1 million views in 3 days.
