Comedian Prof Hamo gets into music- and he sounds good!

The stand-up comedian Professor Hamo has released a new song titled ‘Jela’ featuring Christar Bingwa. Born Herman Kago, the comedian rose to fame in the laugh industry with his rib-cracking jokes and comic acts on the Churchill Show.

‘Jela’ which is a love song has seen Hamo get a good reception from his fans. With lyrics like ‘penzi lako jela hukumu’ Hamo gets in the chorus with a surprisingly sweet melody.

He took to social media to recount his journey from comedy to now music, and how the entertainment industry helped with his self-esteem issues.

“I was 26 years of age when I finally decided fear is for the devil and started chasing a dream of just being on a stage and expressing myself because I had a very serious problem with my self-esteem.”

“At 32 years, I became the Professor on Churchill show and now at 38, I have decided once more to try my hands on the other gift I just enjoyed while on stage and see where it goes, and lo! and behold within 2hours, ‘Jela’ had 21 thousand views and amazing reviews.”

Prof. Hamo went on to thank his fans for their support, saying that he had not anticipated such a positive response to his music.

The song has more than 400 views on YouTube currently in just a month.
